cornerback richard sherman started a fire storm after yesterday's win against the niners but just in the past hour, issued a statement. it reads i apologize for attacking an individual and taking the attention away from the pfantastic game by my teammates. that was not my intent. obviously i could have worded things better and had a better reaction and done things differently, but it is what it is now and people's reactions are what they are. sherman is being widely criticized for his controversial comments about michael crabtree. after making a play in the end zone against crabtree that sealed the win for the seahawks and here is what he said after yesterday's game. >> i'm the best corner in the game. when you try me with a sorry receiver like crabtree, that's the result you're going to go get. don't you ever talk about me. >> sherman continued his sharp comments about crabtree in the post game news conference. jim kozimor joins us now with continuing coverage of the sherman controversy, jim? >> yeah, i'll tell you, football season is over. the 49ers cleaning out the lockers and the seahawks
